University of Leicester International Study Centre students featured in a series of virtual reality videos showcasing St Georges Tower.
Choosing to study in the UK is a major decision, especially when you don’t know what to expect when you arrive. To help prospective students get a greater understanding about what life in Leicester is like, six virtual reality videos were produced to act as a guided tour of the centre.
The tour features students visiting different places throughout St Georges Tower and giving first-hand information on what is available, with advice on everything from printing to kitchen facilities. The 360° aspect allows prospective students to explore the building with their devices from anywhere in the world.
The University of Leicester International Study Centre was chosen for this opportunity because of the unique nature of St Georges Tower. The building is home to both the student accommodation and the International Study Centre, creating a convenient place to study and live. The tower itself is located in Leicester city-centre, with easy access to restaurants, shops and the University.
